Christmas Party

Today was a Christmas Party for my 7th grade girls Sunday School at Faith Baptist Church.  We started with making cards, all supplies and materials donated by a wonderful friend.  Then Becky (my co-teacher) made a scrumptous lunch and decorated a beautiful table.  We then took the girls to the show to the New Chronicles of Narnia movie out this season.  If you haven't see it, I would highly recommend it.  The allegory to God's love and protection of His children is throughout the whole movie.  There is one part where a little girl says that when she grows up she wants to be just like Lucy.  Lucy told her that she needs to be just like herself.   God made each one of us special and be who we are.  Most of the time, I daresay, females are looking in mirrors wishing they were prettier, taller, shorter, skinnier, curly hair, straight hair, etc. etc.  God made each one of us just the way He wanted.  Can we be satisfied with His sculpting of us.  Besides, He is the potter and we are the clay.  Jeremiah 18:6.
