Paradis Journey's

Today we stayed home while the outskirts of Hurricane Irene blew in. I took some pics of what we did to pass the time. As I'm typing this the sky is getting lighter and clearer, the wind slowing down and the rain has stopped for now. What a day it has been. We didn't have to go anyplace to be entertained.

We got no flooding here, no high winds, no fallen trees in our neighborhood so much less than we were anticipating. Our church did lose power so hopefully it will come back on tonight so we can have church tomorrow. It been a slow, lazy day but so thankful and also praying for those whose homes were damaged, those who were killed etc. Now praying for those in the way of the storm going up the East Coast.
